How does the call-out charge work?

£75 covers getting to you and the first hour on site. After that it’s £35 per half hour. If a part is needed we tell you its price before fitting it, and you pay when the job is done.

Can a booking be cancelled?

You have 14 days from booking to cancel. If you ask us to come sooner and then cancel after we’ve started, you pay only for the work done so far. A breakdown you call us out to urgently doesn’t carry the 14-day right once the repair has begun.

How can the Gas Safe registration be checked?

Business details are omitted from this design preview.

Is a boiler in a bottom-house cellar a problem?

No. Many bottom-house boilers sit in cellars. We check the flue route, the air supply and where the condensate goes, which from a cellar often needs a small pump.

Will a heat pump work in a stone terrace?

Sometimes. It depends on how much heat the walls lose, the size of your radiators and where an outdoor unit can sit. The survey answers that before any quote.

How long does a new boiler take?

A like-for-like combi swap is usually one to two days. Moving the boiler or converting from a hot water tank takes longer, and the quote says how long.
